Yes indeed....I keep bringing Macaw back to my home for more projects. This time it was just replacing two windows, but what a challenge on both as the original contractor (17 years ago) did a really poor job. They tacked the issues with professionalism and did an AMAZING job!

This review is long overdue. I was so nervous about finding the right company to renovate the outside of our home. They were contracted to redo our siding, gutters, lights, shutters, and repaint our garage doors. The project could not have gone any smoother. Brenda, Douglas, and company were wonderful to work with throughout the entire project and the transformation was better than expected. They communicated with us every step of the way and were very professional!

We are very pleased with our decision to use Macaw Construction to replace 35 year old cedar wood siding with James Hardie fiber cement board siding and gutters. Not only did they do excellent work, their installers were professional, courteous and worked hard all-day every day. Both Brenda and Douglas were excellent communicators and made the process as easy as possible for us. Their in-house project coordinators were wonderful and easy to work with as well. We wouldnāt hesitate to call on them again.

Macaw Construction did a great job residing the defective siding job on my NEW HOUSE. They're very professional, know what they're doing and did it at a reasonable price. They were also easy to work with, completed the job on time and budget. I strongly recommend Macaw. Unfortunately for our marketplace Macaw's skill and honesty is a HUGE differentiator from too many other builders in the Charlotte market. Benefit to Macaw. My general contractor did a poor job with the James Hardie siding - and other things. I contacted Macaw to get an estimate on fixing what I thought would be cosmetic issues with some soffits, eaves and trim and utility penetrations. Brenda came out to assess the situation and quickly determined the situation to be much worse than those few issues. The builder had improperly applied the siding without drainage slots throughout, assuring the siding would rot the house in a short number of years. The James Hardy warranty was also voided. She suggested it probably all needed replacement! I was skeptical and hired a forensic engineer to look at it. He confirmed the improper installation, suggesting that maybe the house could be opened up by removing caulking to ventilate the house. Unfortunately, there was so much poor workmanship, improper flashing and key spots with no flashing that it all needed to be removed. While Macaw's pricing is reasonable, there is nothing so inexpensive as doing something right the first time. Choose Macaw.

Macaw Construction Services have proven to be the best local contractor for home repairs that we've had the pleasure of working with. We had home damage from Hurricane Helene. We'd already paid someone to repair the exterior wall/gable of our home but sadly they did a very poor job with the Hardie Plank installation such that it had to be removed and reinstalled. Macaw stepped up with a very professional assessment of the repairs needed and a reasonable quote. They provided a crew that worked long hours to do a high quality job, paying attention to details most contractors ignore. We are very pleased with the result and highly recommend Macaw Construction Services.
